Suns Win Game 3, Take 2-1 Series Lead
The Phoenix Suns defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 105-92 in Game 3 of the Western Conference semifinals on Monday night at Footprint Center. The Suns now lead the series 2-1.
Devin Booker led the Suns with 25 points, while Chris Paul added 22 points and 11 assists. Deandre Ayton had a double-double with 19 points and 21 rebounds.
For the Clippers, Paul George had a team-high 26 points, while Kawhi Leonard added 19 points. Reggie Jackson contributed 17 points off the bench.
The Clippers shot just 40.8% from the field, including 26.3% from three-point range. The Suns, on the other hand, shot 48.0% from the field and 37.5% from three-point range.
The Suns also outrebounded the Clippers 55-40.
Game 4 of the series is scheduled for Wednesday night at Footprint Center.
