Red Devils Survive Coventry City Scare to Advance
Manchester United will face Manchester City in the 2024 FA Cup final at Wembley Stadium on Saturday, May 25th. The Red Devils booked their place in the showpiece event with a narrow 2-1 victory over Championship side Coventry City in the semifinals.
United Survive Second-Half Comeback
United took an early lead through Marcus Rashford, but Coventry City fought back in the second half with a goal from Viktor Gyökeres. The Sky Blues came close to completing a dramatic comeback, but Erik ten Hag's side held on to secure their place in the final.
Coventry City manager Mark Robins was proud of his team's performance, despite the defeat. He said, "We gave it everything we had, but it wasn't quite enough in the end. I'm incredibly proud of my players for their character and determination."
